As Google continues to grow its hardware line, people may start clamoring for the devices not just at Google’s online store but in other retail and online outlets. Verizon is one of their partners in making their products more available, and the carrier has now announced that Google Home will be available in their stores, together with the previously announced Pixel phones, Google Live Cases, and Daydream View. And of course since Black Friday is almost upon us, they’re offering some pretty good deals for consumers.
If you didn’t know or you forgot what Google Home is, it is basically the tech giant’s answer to the Amazon Echo. It is a voice-activated speaker that uses the power of Google Assistant to let you play your music, answer your queries, manage everyday tasks like schedules and to-dos, and even control smart devices in your home, like the Nest thermostat or the Phillips Hue bulbs. All you have to do is start it off with OK Google, then give the necessary commands and it will do the rest.
Both the Pixel and the Pixel XL are also available through Verizon to take advantage of their 4G LTE network. You will also be able to buy the Google Live Cases for the two smartphones: the Google Trends Live Case which shows you the trending topics from Google Search and the Google Earth Live Case which shows landscape shots from space on your screen. The virtual reality headset and motion controller, the Daydream View, can also be purchased through the carrier’s stores.
From November 23-28, get the Google Home for just $99.99 and its regular price will be at $129.99. For a limited time, you’ll also get 6 months free on YouTube Red. The Pixel will cost just $10 a month through Black Friday or up to $200 off through November 27.
