The marketing images and actual photos of the Moto M were leaked only yesterday and now we’re seeing the phone in an official listing online. The Chinese website of Lenovo has just listed the new Moto smartphone before the official launch with a price tag that reads RMB 1999. That’s about $295 in the US for this full-metal body, water-resistant Android smartphone.

According to Motorola, the phone boasts a totally new design compared to other Moto smartphones. This one comes with a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel, some narrower edges, and rounded corners. Other specs include a 5.5-inch display, 1080p resolution, 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek chipset, 32GB onboard storage, 4GB RAM, 16MP rear camera with phase-detection auto focus, 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3050mAh battery. Device already supports fast charging technology.

The phone was also sighted on Tmall.com which is like the Chinese Amazon. This means the Moto M is now ready for the Chinese consumers. Don’t expect too much from this device because despite the premium look and build, the specs are not really impressive. We were expecting a 5100mAh battery but that’s nowhere in sight. We’re not sure about the MediaTek processor but we’re trusting Motorola knows whatever it is doing. The Dolby Atmos sound is good enough but we’re still not sure if the phone is really worth its price.
