We’ve been hearing about Motorola’s new smartphone, possibly to launch in time for the holidays – the Moto M. It looks like it’s going to be a midrange phone moving with the trends today, a big-ish screen with a metal unibody design. The phone is about to be launched tomorrow, if Motorola pushes through with its plans. But here we are, a day away and a huge leak with promo images and the phone out of the box just came out.
This latest leak of the Moto M includes a large number of what seems to be official banners for the handset. The writing is in Chinese, but they seem to be in line with the designs of other press materials leaked before. There’s a good look at the Moto M in graphic style, and it confirms the unibody design, together with the specs that line up nicely with the rumors.
The Moto M will have a 5.5-inch 1080p display, powered by a competent but still very much midrange MediaTek Helio P10 processor. That is supported by 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, with dual-SIM support and 4G LTE. So this sounds like a beefy midrange offering from Motorola/Lenovo. There’s a 16MP/8MP camera combo, and the lights are kept on by a 3,050mAh battery. See the out of the box photos below.
The Moto M will also have a fingerprint sensor at the back, and will feature Dolby Atmos audio. All things considered, this should be a good buy at the projected USD$300 pricing. But since these are still leaks, we will know the official lowdown on the Moto M this time tomorrow when Motorola unveils the new phone.
