Adobe continues to build its app portfolio by bringing you tools that you may need while you’re mobile, but also giving you the opportunity to send your finished or unfinished artworks to the more robust desktop applications. At the Adobe Max Keynote last Wednesday, they launched three new products that have different purposes to serve your mobile editing needs. You now have Fix, Sketch, and Comp CC apps available for Android devices through the Google Play Store.
Adobe Photoshop Sketch, from the name itself, lets you draw using various digital tools like brushes, pencils, markers, thick acrylic, erasers, etc. You will also be able to create multiple layers of your drawings and sketches, which you can then restack, transform, merge, and rename. You can then send your files, and layered ones at that, to Photoshop CC so you can further edit and tweak it. You can download Adobe Photoshop Sketch here.
Adobe Comp CC meanwhile lets you create designs and wireframe using photos, texts, shapes, fonts, etc. You have prebuilt sizes or you can create your own as well. The gestures that you need to use to create these designs is pretty easy, and you get to send the file to Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, and InDesign CC for finishing. Lastly, you have Adobe Photoshop Fix which basically lets you fix whatever it is that needs to be fixed on your photos. You can use such tools as “smooth”, “liquify”, “defocus”, etc. It is really meant for image touching and restoration, before you have to post it on your social networks or even just for safekeeping.
