Other specs of the Meizu M5 are as follows: 13MP rear camera, 2.5D curved glass display, 282 ppi, MediaTek MT6750 chipset, up to 128GB memory expansion, and a 5MP front-facing shooter. The main camera boasts of some dual-tone LED flash plus 5P lens, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF while the selfie cam uses 4P Lens and f/2.0 aperture. Phone also features the standard GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The entry-level 2GB RAM with 16GB storage costs CNY 699 ($103) while the 3GB RAM with 32GB memory is CNY 899 which is around $133. Device is also powered by Yun OS 5.1 topped with Flyme OS 5 based on Android. Color options include Matte Black, Champagne Gold, Sapphire Blue, Glacier White, and Mint Green.
The Meizu M5 may be a budget-friendly smartphone but this one already includes a fingerprint sensor on the home button. Its body is only made of plastic. No word on availability in other regions yet but we’ll let you know soon.
