Just a few months ago, the idea of a smartphone without an audio jack was met with derision. But when one major brand announced they were actually releasing one such device, OEMs started paying attention of course. The iPhone 7 was still met with criticism but brands started thinking about products that will do the same or support such products. Audio accessories brand Jaybird has just released their X3 Wireless Sports Headphones which you can use even if your device doesn’t have an audio jack.

The next gen wireless in-ear buds bring you not just quality audio but is also waterproof and has a secure sport fit so you can use it whatever workout you choose to do. The sound quality is much bigger than the previous Jaybird headphones because it has an enhanced 6mm driver. It is also smaller than the others making it the first in the X series that you can use under your helmet if you’re using one as you ride your bike or you do some extreme sports or something. It is also more comfortable because the comfort ear fins have been redesigned and the ear tips made better to fit into your ear.

Because it uses Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, you can actually connect two sets of X3 headphones to just one device source or you can also pair it to two devices simultaneously. You can also use the MySound app so you can customize the settings so you can listen to your music the way you want to. It also now has an eight-hour battery life and in-line controls so it will be easier to use it when you’re on long workouts or travels.
