Say what you want about the new Pixel and Pixel XL but there’s no stopping these two new Google-branded phones from making a splash in the mobile industry. It may be too early to judge but the Pixel has a big potential to sell more than the Nexus. Well, Google can advertise the smartphones more but beyond marketing, the Pixel can show the world what it means to be really known as a Google phone.
The phones are now listed on Google Store but sadly, they are already unavailable. We’re assuming just out of stock because of a high demand and not out of stock because there are not enough units ready on hand. The Pixel XL is still up for purchase but with four to five weeks of wait time. If you can no longer wait, you can also pre-order for one at Best Buy and Verizon Wireless.
On Google Store, the Pixel phone is listed with a $649 price tag but with Google Store Financing, it can be had with a $27.04 monthly fee for 24 months. Google Store Financing isn’t the usual instalment plan. It’s actually a new credit card account provided by Synchrony Bank in the US. If you have plans of buying from store.google.com, you can try to apply for a Google Store Financing account. See if you can avail of this service so you can get the Pixel phone with zero interest on credit.
The Pixel and Pixel XL are each available in three color options: Very Silver, Quite Black, and the Limited Edition Really Blue. You can choose between the 32GB or 128GB variant.
