Here’s another carrier set to offer official replacements of the Note 7. Several countries have begun to receive the new Note 7 through the exchange programs. While others have resumed sales already, T-Mobile in the US is still asking that consumers replace their units. Over half of the 2.5 million units sold have been replaced already but there are more out there that are at risk. If you are one of the many consumers who ordered for the Note 7, make sure you approach T-Mobile, Samsung, or your retailer for a new Note 7 because you don’t want an exploding unit.
T-Mobile wants you to bring your old phone and get a new one. If no new Note 7 is immediately available, a replacement device will be provided. If you don’t want to risk it, you can still get a full refund and then you can choose to get a new device. You may also select a new phone from the current inventory.
If you received the free SD card, Gear Fit, or Netflix subscription with your Note 7 earlier, be happy to know that you can keep them. You may also receive a one-time $25 credit on your phone bill for two months.
You may contact T-Mobile retail store and customer service at 1-844-275-9309. If you still have the old Note 7, you can always discontinue using the phone. You may also power down the device.
T-Mobile is ready to resume sale starting tomorrow which means the units are safe for commercial release once again.
