For the past few years, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile have been known to release the LG Tribute series exclusively. In 2014, the original LG Tribute was made available for purchase at Virgin Mobile. The following year, the Tribute 2 was listed on Boost Mobile and earlier in January, the LG Tribute 5 aka the LG K7 was offered.

There’s no Tribute 3 but this time, LG is launching the Tribute HD. It’s obviously the next-gen model from the Tribute series. Both Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile are listing the new smartphone. It’s another affordable device that follows the Tribute 5. Phone comes equipped with okay specs like a 5-inch FWVGA screen, 720p display resolution, 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset, 16GB built-in storage, 1.5GB RAM, and a 2100mAh battery.

When it comes to imaging, the Tribute HD only has a 5MP selfie cam and 8MP rear camera. Surprisingly, this phone already features 4G LTE connectivity and is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile are selling the phone at different prices–$99 and $80, respectively. We’re not sure why the prices aren’t the same but both mobile carriers are offering the phone with service plans beginning from $30 with a contract. We have no information though for how many months or years.
