The ZTE Axon 7 is perhaps one of the most popular mid-range phones today. It’s budget-friendly, just right for those looking for an affordable unit but with great value. It’s not exactly a powerhouse but good enough for your basic smartphone needs whether calling, texting, gaming, web browsing, or basic mobile computing. No doubt this flagship phone is worthy of our attention.
The smartphone has been noticed for its premium design, as well as, the high quality audio it offers since it was launched. The Chinese OEM is proving to be an influential mover in the mobile industry as it’s making waves not only in its home country but also in the United States where it’s currently the second largest provider of prepaid phones.
Like any other Android phones out there, the Axon 7 isn’t perfect. It’s been out for months and it’s now due for some update. ZTE gladly made improvements based on the feedback of the Z community specifically for the Axon 7. With the update, you can do more than ever with the smartphone, thanks to the enhanced security, longer battery life, and quicker access to the UI.
The improved security is brought to you buy Google as the September 1 Security Patch is included. The fingerprint sensor has been optimized with more stability and speed for better control. To keep you updated about your phone’s battery, there’s the new Fast Battery Drain notification. This way, you can know when it’s okay to close an app that’s been running in the background for so long. Group text messaging has also been added as a new feature.
ZTE said it’s an OTA update so wait for an alert or notification. You can also check manually by going to Settings> Updates and see if the Axon 7 A2017U Build 27 is ready.
Not exactly a powerhouse? How could this phone be anymore powerful?
Not a powerhouse?!?!?!?!? Hahahahaha yeah right. This phone’s snapdragon 820, 4gb of ram, 64gb UFS 2.0, QHD samsung display are just mid-range specs. Hahahahahaha
How anyone can label this phone as anything other than a Powerhouse is beyond me.
