Amidst all this noise regarding Samsung’s embattled phablet (the Galaxy Note 7), it seems there are other Samsung products coming out of the Korean gadget giant’s manufacturing line. Here’s hoping not all of them have a battery issue, you hear? We now have official press images of Samsung’s new 10.1-inch tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), for all of you to look at.

This new Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) will be the successor of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 which launched around 4 months ago, but this new tablet will be boasting of the same S-Pen technology which was seen on the Galaxy Note 7. It will most likely be powered by an Exynos 7870 processor supported by 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with microSD support. We’re also hearing that there will be a large-ish 7,300mAh battery and everything will run under Android Marshmallow.

About that S-Pen, sources say that it will have most of the features of the S-Pen that came with the Note 7. This means that all of the snazzy new features available with the S-Pen on the Note 7 should be available on this tablet as well. That’s pretty good news.

There’s no pricing information available yet, or a date of launch, but since the original press photos have become available, we’re pretty confident that this will not take long to make it to market officially.
