Lenovo has finally announced a follow up to the K5, K5 Plus, and K5 Note. The new K6 phones are just some of the numerous products Lenovo introduced during the IFA in Berlin. Together with the Yogas, Hasselblad Moto Mod, and the Moto Z Play, the Lenovo K6 series will soon be available in the market. These are new mid-range smartphones expected to sell and be ready for those looking for budget-friendly phones.
All three K6 phones are powered by Snapdragon 430 processor. They differ in RAM and storage. The Lenovo K6 boasts of 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage. The K6 Power has either 2GB RAM/16GB or 3GB RAM/32GB while the K6 Note’s standard storage is 32GB with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Storage expansion is still possible with the microSD card slot. When it comes to display size, the K6 Note has the bigger 5.5-inch screen while the two only have 5-inch displays. All three are Full HD which is 1920 x 1080 resolution.
When it comes to imaging, the K6 and K6 power have the same 13MP rear facing camera while the K6 Note has 16MP. Front-facing cams for all phone are 8MP. The K6’s battery is only 3000mAh while the two each use a 4000mAh battery. Other specs all all three models include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, dual-SIM support, Dolby Atmos, and a fingerprint sensor. The new Lenovo phones still run the latest Android Marshmallow but we’re hoping they can be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat in the coming months.
