When you’re in the middle of trying to survive a zombie apocalypse and you’ve run out of weapons to defend yourself and places to hide in, what do you need? And when you’re on a high-octane chase sequence and you run out of energy, what would get you pumped up again? Well, according to Motorola, all you need is a Moto Mod and a Moto Z Droid for both situations. They’ve released a couple of new ads to highlight the modular features of the smartphone and how you can use it in “real life” situations.
The first ad highlights the Moto Insta-Share Projector, which allows you to protect the content on your Moto Z Droid onto a flat surface. Just by attaching the module to your smartphone, you can watch movies, TV shows, videos, and even project documents as well. In the videos that they released, a 30 seconder and a longer 60 second version, two people are trapped in a run-down building with zombies running after them. The only thing that saved them was when the girl projected a video of kittens on the wall, because of course, who doesn’t love kittens?

The second video involves a classic case of cops vs robber, with a female detective running after what we assume is a criminal. But she runs out of breath, and the robber stops running to give her motivation by attaching the JBL Soundboost mod to his Moto Z Droid and letting her choose her jam to give her that adrenaline boost to run after him. Aaawww, wouldn’t it be great if all chase scenes were actually like this?

The Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Droid Force were launched just almost a couple of months ago, and together with them, the Moto Mods can also be purchased to add more features and capabilities, simply by attaching the module to the phone. There are several already available in the market, including the two featured in the videos.
Love my moto z force! I have all mods that are available and they are great. Love being able to show a video to my friends or watch a movie anywhere with the projector and then random jam sessions are good with the JBL speaker. The power pack is great for my backpacking trips. They just work!
