When it comes to smartwatches, we don’t really expect that much information at first glance since the real estate on that tiny screen is pretty limited. But what if a developer was able to make an app that is well designed enough to bring you bite-sized information on your wearable? And what if it’s customizable as well? That’s what the Bits Watch Face lets you do with your Android Wear smartwatch and it’s available for download through the Google Play Store.
Basically, the smartwatch app lets you choose which information is most important to you that you’d want to see it on your relatively small wearable screen. Some of the options that you can choose from are: battery charged level, calendar, current date, number of missed calls, number of new emails you have, how many steps you’ve taken, which stocks are currently tops, another time zone, the current weather, and of course the time now.
Those just show you the basic information, but when you tap on any of the circles, you get to see more details, like whats the weather forecast tomorrow or what are your schedules for the next few days, etc. You will also be able to tweak and personalize the watchface, choosing which designs and which info you would actually want to see when you glance at your wrist.
You can download Bits Watch Face from the Google Play Store for free. You can play around with the design and interface on your connected smartphone before syncing it to the smartwatch.
