The first-gen Samsung Galaxy Tab S in both sizes (10.5 and 8.4) may no longer receive the fluffy Marshmallow. So if you’ve been waiting for the rollout, sorry to say but you may be stuck with the sweet Lollipop. This is according to Samsung Mobile Netherlands who said there won’t be any software update for the tablet anymore. The information is posted on the Facebook page of the company.
There’s no mention why but we’re guessing that Samsung is about to announce a new model. Recently, the Galaxy Tab S was sighted running Android 6.0.1 at benchmark site. We were hoping an update will be available soon but looks like they won’t be released anymore. Samsung has been busy these days prepping up the software update and even new models. There’s also the Android 7.0 Nougat but we doubt now that it will still come now.
The information wasn’t even an official announcement. Someone just asked when the update will be out but a reply was immediately posted. We’re not surprised that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 will no longer receive the software update because they’re already “old”. These tablets were released almost two years ago so it’s about time that new models will be given more attention.
UPDATE: First-gen Samsung Galaxy Tab S still getting the Marshmallow update

More Garbage from Swinesung.
Don’t trust this article. Nobody knows if we are getting the update. Samsung Mobile Greece says we are; contradicting Netherlands. Point is; Samsung Support on Facebook, Twitter, and any other social site don’t have a clue or access to this information.

And Android 7 is nothing but Samsung Android copy, so don’t care more, but Android 6 is important thx to permission manager
