If you’re a frustrated daredevil pilot, or you just feel like you could have been one in another life, then the best thing you can do is actually play a game that will let you be one at least virtually. Red Bull Air Race has been one such game for adrenalin junkies, and now a sequel to the game has been released for your Android devices. Titled Red Bull Air Race 2, of course, it is more of the same plus added features like new locations, a team building feature, a new competition called Class Tournament, etc.
In the sequel, you get to compete across more than 400 races in your quest to become a Master Class pilot from being just a Challenger. You can even race with actual Red Bull Air Race pilots in three types of tournaments and leaderboards: Class, Regional, and Worldwide. Class Tournaments are for specific classes or models of the planes so you get an even playing field, so to speak. Regional Tournaments are, obviously, region-specific so you will only be able to compete with those within your area. The Worldwide Virtual Tournaments are always ongoing so you can compete with anyone from around the world who’s also playing and flying their planes.
You also do not have to compete alone as you can customize your own team to help you claim victory and go up the leaderboard. Each member that you choose will have different abilities and expertise to help you in your quest to be a Master Class pilot. Of course you have the usual plane upgrades and customizations, including more than 30 custom paint jobs. You also get to race in real world Red Bull Air Race venues accompanied by adrenalin-pumping music from Red Bull Records artists (yes, they have a recording company, in case you didn’t know).
You can download Red Bull Air Race 2 from the Google Play Store for free. There are some in-app purchases but you don’t have to spend real money if you don’t want to. Just do it the old school way by winning races.
