There are a lot of portable power banks that are out there in the market right now, but how many can actually juice up any device, including laptops, and is not the size of a concrete block? A campaign on crowd-funding site IndieGoGo can give you portable power, has intelligent charging, and is small enough to just dump in your bag or even fit into your pocket. No wonder Omnicharge’s campaign has managed to reach 2400% of its goal and there are still 17 days left in the campaign.
They say it is the smallest power bank in the market right now which has an AC/DC power outlet as well as 2 USB fast-charing ports. There are two kinds of devices being offered. The first is the Omnicharge Standard with 13600mAh and 65 watts output power while the other one is the Omnicharge PRO which has 20400 mAh and 100 watts. Both can actually charge “any device, anywhere” including smartphones (up to 9 charges), tablets (up to 8), laptops (up to 13 hours), and even TVs (up to 3 hours).
Another great thing about the device, aside from the fact that it can charge your laptop, is that it uses the Smart Power Management System so that it recognizes what you plug into it and adjusts the optimal voltage level for the device. So you don’t have to worry that you’re over charging one of your gadgets or something.
They have also come up with other products and enhancements to make charging easier and more convenient. You can have an EU socket type C option if you live in that region. Or you can add a little more and get a power transmission pad so you can wireless charge your device or devices. To get the Omnicharge Standard, you have to pay $109 which is 40% off the expected retail price of $199. For the Omnicharge PRO, it’s $139 and it’s 44% off the retail price of $249.
