If you’re a bit tired of all the Android flagships from the big brands like Samsung, Motorola, Sony, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc, since they seem like more of the same, then you might want to try out some of the lesser known brands that can produce quality devices as well. One of those is a Miami based company called Blu and they have just announced their new flagship device, the Pure XR, which will be available later this month.
Well, we don’t really know much about the smartphone since they have not released a spec list yet and there are no rumors going around for this one. What we do know, based on the picture that Blu has released, is that it will have 4GB RAM and it has a home button that may or may not have a fingerprint sensor. Design-wise, it’s not something so groundbreaking but it does look decent. Until we know what’s inside though, we won’t know if it’s something worth buying.
What might attract some people is that it has an MSRP of $299 which seems pretty affordable. Devices that have 4GB RAM are normally considered high end ones, so for that price, this seems like a pretty good deal. Blu has released previous devices that are either very cheap but they have also brought out higher end devices, and it looks like the Pure XR will belong to the latter category.
Hopefully, they will release more information about the Blu Pure XR soon so that more people might become interested in it. It will be released in the US by August 29. They will also be giving away 3 units through random selection of those who will enter a contest. Click link to get the chance to win one.
