If you’re an athlete or just someone who wants to get in shape by working out, the new wireless sports headphones from Jabra just might entice you from parting with your current one. The Jabra Sport Pulse Special Edition is the first to feature automatic and continuous VO2 Max fitness testing. The Jabra Sport Coach Special Edition meanwhile is the first sports headphone to have automatic repetition counting through the TrackFit™ motion sensor. Both will be available by the third quarter of this year.
The Jabra Sport Pulse Special Edition is a follow-up to the first one with the same name (except for the special edition) and has improved on it of course, now having an in-ear heart rate monitor which you need to use together with the Sports Life app. It will be able to automatically measure your fitness level by calculating your VO2 Max level. This is actually an established measure of aerobic fitness that is globally recognized and so it should help you with your fitness goals and make the most out of whatever workout you’re doing.
If you can’t afford to hire a personal coach, then the next best thing would be to have the Jabra Sport Coach Special Edition. One of the innovations it’s introducing is the TrackFit™ motion sensor which should be able to give you automatic repetition counting. It also has in-ear coaching so you can plan, track, and concentrate on the workout that you’ve chosen to help you reach your goal.
Both pairs of earphones use COMPLY® Foam Tips so they will be locked-in place when you’re doing your physical activities. They also have IP55 standard dust and water resistance and they have a three-year warranty against sweat. The Jabra Sport Pulse Special Edition is priced at $159.99 while the Jabra Sport Coach Special Edition is at $119.99. They will be available by the third quarter of this year.
