What T-Mobile has done for the 2016 Summer Olympics, they’re also doing for the upcoming Paralympic Games starting next month. This means that everyone who will be traveling to Brazil to compete in the games or watch family members and loved ones play will be able to enjoy all the same things that the uncarrier offered spectators and family members of the athletes who are currently competing in the games in Rio, which is set to end by August 21.

T-Mobile is currently offering high-speed unlimited data to subscribers who are in Brazil and this treat will be extended until the close of the Paralympic Games on September 18. You don’t need to enroll in anything. The minute you step off the plane in the South American country, you’ll be able to enjoy fast Internet, at least on paper. We don’t know if it really is as fast as T-Mobile claims it to be, so if you’re in Rio right now, do let us know.

The calls to and from Brazil and the US are also free, as is texting, since T-Mobile has been offering free texting worldwide anyway. Just like with the current Olympics, family members of athletes competing in the Paralympics will be able to avail of T-Mobile’s offer of a free Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and a Samsung Gear 360 camera, plus of course free T-Mobile service during their entire stay in Rio.

To get this generous offer from T-Mobile, family members can apply through the website or by emailing RoamFreeInRio@t-mobile.com with your complete information. Good luck to our Paralympians!
