Most of us probably won’t use the Google Play Developer Console app, unless you are an app developer and your app is on the Google Play Store. If so, that app is specifically designed to help you out, and you better be using it. The console app just gained a few goodies sure to help you in the distribution of your app and your dreams of conquering the world.
The new feature is quite straightforward – when a new review of your app comes in, you can tell the console to send you a notification. Also, a new filter option lets you sift through the reviews that are already there. This is pretty cool for an app developer, we know.
Google Play is also gaining a few tricks up its sleeve specifically for app developers. It’s launching a new set of language and country analytics to help you get more data about where your app is getting installed. The data includes the top languages and countries where your apps have been installed, the percentage of installs that come from users of those languages, and additional information to help you see if language is an issue with your app in the market.
These features are now embedded into Google Play and the Google Play Developer Console app, so you might want to either update your version of the app, or download it via the link below.
