The Grisly Manor sounds creepy but it’s not. It’s just a memorable house your Grandpa wants to save from being demolished. You see, BUYCO wants to expand its business by building a new MegaMart branch right on where the Grisly Manor which was recently renovated.
The Grisly Manor holds a special memory of the past. The old guy really owns the land but it’s a challenge to prove it. All he needs to do is show the deed that he owns the old manor but unfortunately, he can’t remember where. He just knows it’s somewhere inside. It’s up to you to help him find it.
Return to the Grisly Manor and start exploring the house. You’ll be going back to the past so prepare yourself for another round of excitement in discovering all the memories and secrets inside. There are too many stories to tell and you sure don’t want them vanishing into thin air if and when the manor is demolished.
The game is plain and simple but it might take you a while to finish because of the stunning graphics painted by hand. Background music is incredible as the sound effects and original soundtrack have been carefully chosen. There are numerous items to find and collect so make sure you can track all symbols and clues. There’s a map that will show you places you’ve already explored so you won’t be wasting your time.
If you don’t have enough time to play, you can always take advantage of the hint system built into the game. It’s not exactly cheating but what adventure game doesn’t show any clue?
