The Telegram messaging app may not be as popular as Messenger or WhatsApp, but it does have its share of loyal users, and they’re being rewarded with consistent updates and new features which can also attract new users. The latest now brings you a trending stickers section, a place for you to put your personal storage, preview of group chats and a brand new camera interface for Android devices. That’s a lot of small things to unpack in just one update so it should keep existing users pretty happy.
First off, Telegram is pretty known for having a lot, and we do mean a lot, of stickers, whether it’s custom-made or the ones created by professional artists. So sometimes, it’s hard to pick which one to use in your messages. The app now has a special section for the most popular sticker sets in the Trending Stickers tab in the Stickers panel. This is also good for those who already have a lot of sets installed. If you’ve gone over the 200 limit, the older unused stickers are then put in the Archives section and you can reactivate them later on.
You also now have a Storage Chat section in your Contacts tab so you can put text or images that you want to share to yourself that you can access on your other devices. If it’s images you’re looking for, click on the Shared Media part, and if it’s text, you can just use the in-chat search function. If people are inviting you to a group chat, you want to check out first what you’re getting into. You can now see a preview of the group link sent to you, including who’s in the group and how many are in there.

Lastly, for Android users, Telegram has a new in-app camera which should make it easier for you to take photos while messaging your friends. You can also now preview the photo first before sending. Update your Telegram app to version 3.11 to enjoy all these new features.
