AT&T has not forgotten the budget-friendly category of tablets. The mobile carrier has recently announced that it’s offering the Trek 2 HD for a very minimal price starting this August 5, Friday. For only $0.99, you can avail of the Android tablet with a low monthly fee on a two-year contract. This tablet is AT&T branded which means it will be loaded with some of the network’s exclusive features like DIRECTV.

If you have an eligible service, you can get a Trek 2 HD with a $7.50 monthly fee for 20 months on an AT&T Installment Plan or a 2-year agreement. Tablet already runs the latest Android Marshmallow and we’re hoping it will be ready for the nutty Nougat in the future. Device comes equipped with an 8-inch HD screen, dual front-facing Dolby speakers, 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Octa-core Snapdragon processor, 16GB built-in storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB max), 5MP rear and front-facing cameras, and a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 10.5 hours.

The stunning display makes it ideal for watching videos with the DIRECTV service so you can catch up on your favorite shows anytime, anywhere. It’s more of an entertainment device for those who are always on-the-go yet want to be updated with their fave TV shows.
