The 2016 Rio Olympics is a few weeks away, but you can never be too early to show some Olympic spirit. If you’re on WhatsApp, you can actually now send the Olympic Rings emoji to your friends when you’re discussing sports or even just randomly send it to your contacts for no reason at all. This is part of the latest update to the messaging app, although apparently, it’s not indicated in the release notes for version 2.16.7, which started rolling out on July 25.

This is an actual emoji and not a sticker, which can currently be found only on WhatsApp for Android. That’s because the app on the platform comes with a custom keyboard for emoji. Once you’ve updated to the latest version, you can find it under the sports (a football symbol) tab, and can be seen at the very last line, next to the bowling emoji. This has actually been created using the Emoji ZWJ Sequence which can give you new characters without having to go through the Unicode process.

WhatsApp has done this before with a flag for England added in 2014, because the ISO standard used two-letter country codes. England was represented by the flag for the United Kingdom. Then just last year, they were the only app that had the middle finger emoji, for those times when you just really need to. If you use the sequence for the Olympic Rings outside of WhatsApp, it will just look like five circles beside each other.

The update to WhatsApp also brings other minor changes like the single emoji you send is now bigger or you can slide your finger up and down when recording videos there. Chats also now open faster supposedly, so update your WhatsApp to the latest version.
