High school and college students, your days are almost numbered. Vacation will soon be over and it’s back to school in a month’s time. But Google will try to make it up to you by offering great discounts on some of their products on the Google Store, including the Nexus 6P, the Huawei Watch, Chromecast dongles, and even their Chromebooks. So if you’ve been begging your parents for a new gadget to start your school year right (or if you’ve been saving up for one), then now might be the time to make that back to school purchase.

If it’s a smartphone you’re looking for, the Nexus 6P is having $100 off its variants until August 13. It may not be the best Nexus device and there will be a new one announced later this year, but it’s still a pretty good device and $100 off is nothing to scoff at. You can get the 32GB for $499, the 64GB for $549, and the 128GB for $649. It’s actually rare for Google to give a discount on the Nexus 6P on its own store, so might as well take advantage.

For those who are looking for a brand new smartwatch to show off in your school, the two Huawei watches available on the Google Store are also on sale with both getting a $50 cut. The Huawei Watch will now just be $350 while the more elegant sounding (and looking) Huawei Watch Elegant will be available for $450. The sale will run only until August 1, so better hurry with that decision.

Even the Chromecast dongles are getting slashed. Both the Chromecast and the Chromecast Audio will be at $5 off, so you can get them for just $30 each until July 31. The Acer Chromebook R11 and the Acer Chromebook 14 get $30 off so it will just cost you $280 and $270 respectively. Head on over to the Google Store so you can decide whether or not to take Google up on its offer.

  1. First off the nexus 6p is the best nexus phone made to date, maybe your thinking of the 5x. Also $100 off the regular price is $399 for the 32gb and so on. You need to fix your article.

  2. I’ve had a 6 P for almost a year and I would never buy another phone from these people. I have to restart to use the microphone I have to restart to read the Google News it uses cellular data when I’m sitting here with Wi-Fi. The new phones will be out and if anybody pays more than $100 4A 6p they’re getting robbed

    • The 6p is an outstanding phone I’ve had mine since they came out and have never encountered those problems my wife has the 5x and hasn’t had those problems either

    • I don’t know what you are doing wrong but several of my coworkers and I have the 6P. Ive had several iPhones and Samsung phones but this is amazing. Plus not having to wait 3 months for software updates is well worth the money. Oh did I mention it’s almost half the price.

    • I guess this make the 3 replay that goes to show you are wrong. You must got a lemon that you should’ve returned long time ago. Yes there where a few units that had bad hardware. But for the must part these phone is been amazing. I HAD MANY MANY PHONE OVER YEARS but my Nexus 6p is been one of the best if not the phone I ever had.

  3. I’ve got the Huaweii watch, but got it off Amazon for $299. Surprisingly, I really like it. My wife and friends like it and I would definitely do it again in the future if I had to.

I just wish there was an easy way to replace battery down the road if need be.

  4. “It may not be the best Nexus device” …????….It’s their flagship phone and one of the best phones on the market! The author of this article obviously didn’t do his/her homework and knows precious little about the Cell phone market…AT THAT PRICE; BUY THIS PHONE!! You won’t get anywhere near the same phone elsewhere for the price….Trust me, I’m still kicking myself for opting for a Samsung S6 Edge+ instead …for about $200 more.

    • Totally agree… This is still a top phone on the market almost a year in. Don’t forget incredibly fast and most current updates.
