Straight from a downer Friday when Nintendo stocks plummeted – and that coming from a period of time when the company experienced a huge boost in the market as everybody got caught up in the Pokemon GO wave – Niantic must have realized that it needed to up its game some, as people are tiring of catching these little monsters and having to go to Pokemon Gyms to actually battle. So Niantic CEO John Hanke dropped by at the San Diego Comic Con yesterday to generate some excitement about some upcoming features of the game.
First up, Hanke was extremely apologetic about the repeated server downtimes. It’s actually a good problem to have, since it says that a lot of people are playing the game, and Hanke admits that Niantic servers “weren’t provisioned for what happened” – meaning that they didn’t expect the huge amount of players of the game. That said, he revealed that Niantic’s engineers are working to keep the servers up and stable before they add new features.
Speaking of new features, Hanke did confirm that Pokemon trading will be coming soon. Also, he said that rare Pokemon will be starting to show up. “There are some rare ones that haven’t showed up yet that will be showing up,” he said, considering only 145 of the 151 total Pokemon types have been accounted for worldwide.
Lastly, your Pokemon teams will start to become very important very soon. Whether you are Team Instinct (Yellow), Team Valor (Red), and Team Mystic (Blue) might play into some new features that are coming. Plus, the developers announced the team leaders (yay!) – Niantic showed off Blanche, Candela, and Spark, the leaders of each respective team. Hanke said that “the leaders of each time will start dispensing advice to players sooner rather than later.”

Dude do you even do any research before writing these? Nintendo stock raised because stupid investors thought they were behind the release of Pokemon Go (sheep that they are) and when they realized that Nintendo only has 34% take on the company that actually holds the rights to Pokemon AND that Niantic is really the maker of the game they bailed en mass (sheep again)….
It literally has NOTHING to do with people getting tired of Pokemon Go already as you imply
