Earlier this month, Samsung rolled out the Galaxy J3 Pro in China. It was made available first in India and soon came to the United States via AT&T. This time, it’s Verizon Wireless’ turn to bring the affordable smartphone to a wider market. You can choose from either the 8GB model or the 16GB Samsung Galaxy J3 V which is exclusive to the carrier.

To review, the Samsung Galaxy J3 comes equipped with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad Core chipset, microSD card slot for expansion (128GB maximum), 2MP selfie camera, 5MP rear camera (f/2.2 aperture), and a 2600mAh battery. There’s Samsung KNOX support already to ensure that your phone is always safe and secure. It also features an Easy Mode for an even simpler interface.

Samsung Galaxy J3 is more of budget-friendly phone. It now runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow so you can enjoy the latest features from the mobile platform. The exclusive Verizon version can be availed for $168 on full retail price or only $7/month for two years. It’s lower at $109 if you get it with the prepaid plans starting from $30 per month unlimited talk and text plus Wi-Fi access. Add some $15 ($30) for unlimited talk-text with 1GB data or double the amount ($60) for unlimited talk and text with 3GB data.

You can now purchase the Galaxy J3 (2016) and Galaxy J3 V from Verizon’s online store. The Galaxy J3 V will be ready later this week on June 23.
