While Telegram may not have the popularity of a LINE or a Viber, it does bring a lot of features that are later on emulated by its competitors. The latest update, version 3.10, brings several new useful features and changes, including the ability to save drafts, an internal video player in case you receive videos, and the scroll to bottom button with an unread messages counter. The design across all the platforms where the app can be found has also been slightly improved.

Have you ever had that experience where you were typing something in reply to a person you’re chatting with, and they suddenly send a new message, and you forget what you were supposed to say later on. That becomes even more frustrating/confusing in group chats. But now, these unfinished messages are saved in drafts and so you can continue typing it and then send it eventually whenever you want. And since it’s synced across all your devices, you can continue typing on your computer in case the message is longer and you’d want to type better than on your smartphone.

If you receive videos in your chats, you can now watch in on a built-in video player, but only if your Android device is running on version 4.1 and above. Another new thing that has finally arrived for Android users is the scroll to bottom button which also has an unread messages counter. This is also now available on the desktop version. And the desktop app also has new buttons, revamped profile pages and the unread message counters are now blue.
