If you’re like Sheldon Cooper on the Big Bang Theory and have a fascination (obsession) with trains, you might want to try out this new game from sim management game from Kairosoft. It’s called Station Manager, and from the name itself, you know your job is to manage a train station and if you’re good at it, you can start building a train empire. It’s basically like your favorite simulation games, but this time with trains and with pixelized characters.
Your task is to oversee that the train station given to you will run efficiently and smoothly. You will manage different kinds of trains, like for business travel or for vacationing families and friends and the challenge is to link the correct ones together. And you would also need to keep your customers happy so you need to install some facilities for their refreshment and comfort like vending machines, VIP lounges, arcades, information boards, etc.
You start out with a simple train station but eventually, you can expand your holdings into a subway station. And in the long run, you will also expand into other areas, building more train stations as you go along. The objective of course is to pull in as much profit as you can from all your passengers and train station customers. Unfortunately, all the progress you’ve made will be saved on your device and not the cloud, so if you lose your phone, goodbye to all your stations.
You can download Station Manager from the Google Play Store for $4.99, and with still some in-app purchases. It sounds a little steep for a sim management game, but hey, if trains are your thing, then go for it.
