That Emoji Switcher developed by Steven Schoen has been making waves since its official launch in February last year. It made possible for a mobile user to use different versions of emoji. We know the dev promised to work on versions for numerous smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S5, AT&T Goldeneye v26, Omega, HTC M8, and the LG G2 among others. We didn’t heart about it until today when Steve announced on Reddit that his app is now ready for the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S7.

The new version still requires rooting the device just like the earlier version. Apparently, people have been asking for the Emoji Switcher to work on Marshmallow-ed phones but it took him a while. Now, it’s ready for download straight from the Google Play Store.

Remember, this is for rooted devices only and that includes the Galaxy Note 5 and the new Galaxy S7. Once you download the app after rooting your phone, you can switch the emoji in your device conveniently and quickly every time you need it.
