Quite before Rayark came out with the popular action shooter called Implosion, they were already known for making tight and accurate rhythm games. Rhythm games are – for those unfamiliar – those games which ask you to tap or swipe patterns on your screen while listening to musical tracks. These patterns are usually related to how complicated the musical arrangement is. Rayark is at it again with VOEZ, its newest rhythm gaming app.

While it may seem that VOEZ is one of those rhythm games that lack complexity enough to interest you, please understand that these are not just notes falling down. Play the game and you’ll soon understand that the gameplay is tight and needs a lot of skill – the areas that you need to tap move around the screen, you’ll need to follow them carefully if you want to get that perfect score, and it’s not easy at all.

The game also features a story mode with different characters. As you go through the story, the main characters visit different places in the game which correspond to actual locations in Taiwan. “Additional cities and destinations will gradually appear with the game’s progression.”

If you want to try out VOEZ, it is free to play, with IAPs of course. Download the game from the link below, and tell us about it when you’ve played it.
