The LG Stylus 2 was launched at the Mobile World Congress back in February. The smartphone impressed us with its Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+) technology. Only after a few months, the phone is getting another variant in the form of the LG Stylus 2 Plus. There’s no formal announcement yet by the South Korean tech company but the phone was sighted on TENAA.
As we all know, any certification by the Chinese FCC means an impending arrival. The LG Stylus 2 Plus is listed as the LG G535 model. It’s now considered a phablet because screen size is bigger at 5.7-inches.
Other features of the LG Stylus 2 Plus include a FullHD resolution, Snapdragon 430 processor (octa-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 CPU), 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, 4G/LTE connectivity, and a 3000mAh battery. The imaging system is the same as the old LG Stylus 2. Phone already runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The LG Stylus 2 Plus will be available starting June with a $340 price tag (TWD 10,990). Still no word on pricing and availability in other regions but we’re hoping very soon.
LG has some other phablets still available including the LG G Vista 2 phablet that was released October last year. We can’t say the Stylus 2 Plus is a follow-up to the G Vista 2 but they are now part of the same phablet category.
