The May 30 event for Asus where they will unveil their latest line of Zen 3 devices is still a few days away, but of course, as with most other launches, there are some teases, rumors, and leaks that are happening. First off, ASUS released a 30 second video with some experimental-looking nature-themed videos and glimpses of the devices they will be unveiling during the launch. Then an image of the specs of a Zen 3 phone (no clue which one though) has been posted on Weibo, as it has passed the AnTuTu benchmark.
The teaser video doesn’t really tell us anything solid about what the smartphones will be all about, but it does give us a lot of pretty imagery. It also reveals three key words that may or may not refer to each of the three upcoming devices: Clarity, Desire, and Unlimited. It also offers several glimpses of some features like large screens, metal frames, and a fingerprint scanner at the back. ASUS is expected to unveil all three handsets, Asus ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Max on May 30.
Meanwhile, a screenshot of some specs of one of those devices was posted on China’s social networking site Weibo as the Zen 3 has passed the AnTuTu benchmark test. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and has 4GB RAM (wow!) and 32GB of internal storage. It has a full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels and it has a 23MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
The Zenvolution will be revealed on May 30 so we will probably see more rumors and leaks in the days leading up to the event. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the 30-second teaser, if that’s your thing.
