As with tradition, any certification posted by TENAA means the device is about to launch in the market. The latest to drop by the Chinese FCC is the ZTE Nubia Z11 together with its stronger and bigger sibling, the Z11 Max. This is no longer a secret because the Nubia Z11 Mini was already launched in China in April. We knew that it was only a matter of time before ZTE rolls out the stardard Nubia and the Max variant.

TENAA has already revealed the two which means they are just around the corner. What’s interesting is that while the ZTE Mini used a glass material at the back, the new pair will have an all metal body. Features of the Nubia Z11 include a 5.5-inch display, Full HD resolution, 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 chipset, 4GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, and an expandable storage. What’s confusing here is that the Nubia Z11 Mini features a 64GB internal storage. That’s the Mini version but why does the Z11 only has 32GB?

When it comes to imaging, there’s the 16MP autofocus camera with LED flash, and and 8MP selfie cam. The phone is powered by a 2900mAh battery and runs only the MiFlavor UI based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

On the other hand, there’s the higher-specced Nubia Z11 Max complete with a bigger 6-inch display screen, 1080p resolution, 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4000mAh battery, and Qualcomm Quick Charging technology.

Just like the Nubia Z11 Mini, these two come with fingerprint sensors and 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE support. There’s a slight difference aside from the size–the Nubia Z11 Max is in the center while the Nubia Z11 is found on the top left.

Still no word on pricing and availability but we’ll let you know soon.
