Two separate apps that are owned by the same company should have better integration with each other right? That’s probably the thinking from Microsoft with the latest update of their Arrow Launcher for Android devices. The main new feature for this version is better integration of Wunderlist, plus other minor additions, including language support for 7 other languages. Integration of the productivity app was previously added earlier last month, but now it seems they have tried to make it better.
One of the new things that has been included now with this update is the ability to show all the lists from Wunderlist. Having a lot of lists for a lot of different things is one of the appeals of the list app which Microsoft acquired last year. So having all of these lists displayed when you save a reminder or item and then choosing which list this should go to is pretty useful.
But this update is not just about Wunderlist. It also brings new features like having the notification badge counter displayed in the apps page and also giving an image preview for text messages on the recent page. And the good news for those who read and speak other languages is that the launcher is adding support for German, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Polish, Italian, and Indonesian.
Microsoft has been gaining a steady following in the Android Community as they have been producing quality apps, and Arrow Launcher is a pretty good alternative home launcher too. You can update to the latest version if you already have it, or if you don’t yet, you can download it from the Google Play Store for free.
