When Sony announces new product offerings, they don’t just bring one or two, but a whole lot of high-quality audio products that will tempt you to part with your hard-earned (we hope) cash. They have now just announced 9 new audio home products that will all the more give you a better “immersive listening experience” and to build on a multi-room set-up, if ever you’ve always wanted to start one at home.
The HT-NT5 Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer ($799.99) has hi-res audio playback and also supports 4K and HDR content. It has built-in Google Cast so you can stream music from your favorite streaming apps directly onto the sound bar. The Sony SRS-ZR7 ($299.99) is a four-speaker wireless device with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Noise levels are reduced through the S-Master HX tech, and has built-in HDMI so you can connect it to Dolby® Digital/ DTS format television. It also has support for Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and SongPal app.
The new SRS-ZR5 ($199.99) has HDMI connectivity so you can easily connect to Google Cast or SongPal. It can also be paired with another speaker to create a wider stereo effect. The STR-DN1070 Hi-Res WiFi Network A/V Receiver ($599.99) incorporates DAC for a flawless High-Res audio experience. It also supports wireless multi-room, S-Force Pro for better immersive listening, and other Sony wireless surround tech. The STR-DH770 Home Theater AV Receiver ($349.99) can be used to immerse its audience in full 4K HDR video and 7.2 channel audio. It has four HDMI inputs, support for S-Force Pro, and HDMI as well.
The new line-up of products also include two players, the BDP-S6700 4K Upscaling 3D Streaming Blu-ray Disc player ($129.99) and the UHP-H1 Premium Audio & Video Player ($349.99), which is Sony’s first Hi-Res certified Blue-Ray player. The PS-HX500 Hi-Res Audio Turntable ($599.99) caters to the current renewed love for LP records and is actually the first turntable from Sony with the state-of-the-art digital tech and a “new advanced design.” Lastly, we have the CAS-1 High-Resolution Audio System ($999.99) with its dual-amps, LDAC and NFC support, Bluetooth connectivity, and streaming from the SongPal app as well.
