When you want to send messages or share links to articles you think others will find interesting, you have a lot of options lime messaging services, social networks (if it’s okay to go public), etc. You can add another one to the list with Radon, and it uses a combination of Bluetooth, WiFi, and near-ultrasonic audio to be able to send these messages quickly to those near you. It is not a groundbreaking option, but it is there in case you want to use it.

You don’t need to be on the same WiFi network and you don’t need to have Near-Field Communication (NFC) when you have to send something to other users. There is no need to pair your devices or to tap them together or anything. There is also no limit to the number of devices that you can “broadcast” to. All they need to do is install the Radon app as well and when they open it, they will be able to receive the message even though you broadcast it a few hours ago.

Once you’ve installed the Radon app, you’ll find it among the options that you have when sharing selected text or links. Unfortunately, what you can send to others is still pretty limited right now. It can’t share files or photos and can actually only share text. But it is quick and can send to multiple devices (although group messaging can also take care of that, eh?)

You can download Radon for free from the Google Play Store. Smartphones have either Bluetooth or WiFi (or both) so it should be compatible with most devices.
