So why did the chicken cross the road? Apparently, because various Disney characters wanted to cross the road too. The highly addictive and sometimes difficult game Crossy Road now has a new variant, and if you’re a fan of all things Disney, then you’d probably want to have a go at it. Disney Crossy Road is now available at the Google Play Store and it brings all (well, almost all) your beloved animated characters into the busy 8-bit streets and the cars trying to run them over.
The gameplay for Disney Crossy Road is the same as the original one, but this time, instead of a chicken or the other available animals trying to survive the streets, it will be your favorite Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Rapunzel, Mufasa, Sadness, Wreck-it-Ralph and more than a hundred other Disney and Pixar characters. The object is still to have them cross over to as many streets as you can without getting run over.
The various settings for the game may also seem familiar, like Al’s Toy Barn, the Haunted Mansion, San Fransokyo, the Pride Lands of Africa, and other familiar locations in the Disney and Pixar movies, but this time, depicted in all its 8-bit glory. There are also themed challenges that are unique to each of the worlds you will enter, and you would need to survive in order to get more points, bonuses, and special power-ups.
You can download Disney Crossy Road from the Google Play Store for free, with in-app purchases available. However, it is not yet available for all regions, but hopefully, it will have a full international launch soon.
