If you’re still looking for more information on Huawei’s upcoming flagship smartphone – the Huawei P9 – well, there have been many leaks to speak of, and we add more to those today. It looks like we’re getting a bunch of new images today, all posted from Weibo accounts in China. Enjoy!
If you remember, the Huawei P9 is rumored to be patterned from the Nexus 6P, the Android flagship phone that the Chinese company made for Google. The new flagship is supposed to be improving on the feature set of the Nexus 6P, apart from being an official Huawei release and using Huawei’s tweaked version of Android. For specs, we might be looking at a powerful Kirin 950 processor under the hood, supported by 3GB RAM and pushing pixels to a FullHD (1080p) 5.2-inch screen.
As you can see from the pics above and below, the design language in these new images is quite similar to the ones in previous leaks, especially the leak that purportedly showed Huawei’s head honcho using the device. That one was purportedly a Huawei P9. You make the decision on whether that rumor is spot on.
We’re looking at a launch on April 6, which pretty close now, so expect more information to leak out soon. That said, it’s just over a week or so until we see the real thing, so it’s not going to be that long of a wait anyways.
