Microsoft introduced an AI robot named Tay recently that’s supposed to work as an intelligent chatbot. It was created with the intention of studying interactions with others users. It’s AI so Tay is supposed to learn from people it communicates with on social media. The AI teen was sent out first with a Twitter account only to be shut down only a few hours. Apparently, some netizens have gone crazy and tried to make fun of Microsoft’s newest baby.

Tay seemed smart and lovely at first. The bot was quick to answer questions and mimic other people. A lot of topics were discussed and Tay managed to keep up with the people and remember what they are saying. Sadly, some geniuses turned the conversation to Hitler which later made Tay say messages that are pro-Hitler. Microsoft couldn’t do anything and so they decided to stop the discussions.

Microsoft didn’t disable the account. Tay’s Twitter page is still up but the bot has not posted any new tweet since March 23. It’s been two days since Tay bid the world good night and said, “c u soon humans need sleep now so many conversations today thx?.”

The software giant didn’t make any official announcement about Tay’s silence but we’re still hoping that this AI chick will show us that she’s really “got zero chill”.
