A new pair of stylish-looking earbuds could be your best pair ever as it comes with an in-ear microphone system and Noise Blocking Technology, offering great audio listening experience sans the wires. The product is still a concept but it’s currently listed on Kickstarter website by the designers asking for your pledges so they can finally bring it to production.

A RippleBuds pair boasts off Bluetooth connectivity and an in-ear mic system so you can use it to freely talk over the phone or chat online. As with most accessories of its type, RippleBuds can cancel ambient noise as its Noise Blocking Technology is very innovative and impressive. It can reduce noise by about 30 decibels according to the team behind it.

The Ear technology captures your voice from the ear so you can be heard clearly even in a noisy environment. Its being wireless allows you hands-free use so you can listen to your favorite music or talk with a friend or colleague while doing something else. Whether you’re at home cleaning, exercising, or on the road driving or commuting, you won’t be annoyed by any wire hanging.

Team RippleBuds is hoping to raise $50,000 but as of this writing, over $72,000 have been pledged by 655 backers. It’s still 29 days before deadline so we’re expecting a higher amount will be raised. Feel free to back this project for as little as $69 on RippleBuds’ Kickstarter page.

This is a crowdfunded project, and as such may not deliver what its creators initially promise. Most crowdfunding sites, like Kickstarter and Indiegogo, have policies about what happens to your money if the project fails to deliver on its goals, but choosing to back a project is inevitably a risk. Android Community’s reporting on crowdfunded projects should in no way be seen as an endorsement, unless specifically stated, and we recommend closely examining the terms and conditions to understand your individual rights as a backer before making a pledge.
