With smartphones starting to sport non-removable batteries more and more, users have started to turn to power banks for salvation. But even power banks themselves need to hug a wall socket once in a while. Sadly, sometimes that “once in a while” is exactly when you need it the most and exactly when there is no socket in sight. That nightmare need not happen with Go Green’s 50,000 mAh power bank. Aside from the ridiculously large capacity, it can also take its power from the sun, allowing you to charge any time, anywhere.

You’ve seen huge power banks and you’ve seen solar power banks. Bet you haven’t seen a huge solar power bank, though. Go Green combines the best of the best at little extra cost in money or weight. With a 50,000 mAh capacity, you can juice up your smartphone or tablet up to 1,000 times if needed. And when you need to power up the power bank itself, just put it under the sun and watch the meter fill up.

This Go Green power bank can charge up any USB device, which covers almost any smartphone, tablet, or bluetooth headset or speaker known to man and woman. It intelligently identifies the device’s charging requirements and adjusts its voltage accordingly. And it comes in three color options of black, blue, and gray to boot!

The Go Green 50,000 mAh Solar Power Bank goes $34.99, a sweet 64% discount from its regular $99 tag. Just remember to pick your preferred color before you make your order. Make looking for wall sockets a thing of the past with the Go Green 50,000 mAh Solar Power Bank.

  1. These have been reviewed online and found to contain cells that amount to only 8,000 mAh, with questionable power management and LEDs that end up sucking power from the solar charge.

      • Check out the You Tube reviews. These units are all over the Internet,
including Ebay where you have the option of various power outputs. But
one guy opened it up and found that the batteries themselves amounted to
only 8,000 mAh. I do not see any review yet of the 50,000 version or this
one under the label of Go Green..

  2. AHAHA.
My friend had one of those. Looks EXACTLY the same. It’s not 50,000mAH, more like 5,000mAH and it takes forever to charge and the output is also a lie.

A terrible deal, I recommend not touching this at all, no matter how cheap.

  3. Its a lie. I got mine. Its 16,000 mAH, NOT 50,000. States 16,000 clearly on the package and the back of the device. Why would Android Community perpetuate a hoax?

i HAVE IMMEDIATELY ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK.

  4. Thanks to all the commenters for the warnings. I was about to bite on this from a “deal” email newsletter (not their fault). It was through a consolidator website store through another store. If I hadn’t googled to find out the size. I wouldn’t have seen the expereinces from you guys. 75% (Ha!) of $99 !!! with $15 shipping!!! Such a bargain!
