South Korea has become famous for its scary movies that will keep you up late at night (and might not make you fall asleep ever). If you like that kind of thing, then you’ve probably heard of a horror game that came out back in 2001 called White Day. You’ll be pleased to know that the game has now been remade into a mobile experience, still called White Day, and it is now ready to be downloaded and played on your Android device.
If you’re not familiar with the term White Day, it is celebrated a month after Valentine’s Day, on March 14, and in return for the chocolates and treats that the girls gave the boys a month earlier, the boys now need to reciprocate. But this mobile game has given this celebration a twist by having the boy trapped in a labyrinthian school filled with ghouls and ghosts, all because he wanted to leave a surprise for the girl he likes.
So now you need to escape all the possessed janitors, creepy student ghosts, and all the dangers lurking in the halls of Yeondu High. And you don’t have any weapons of sorts, except your feet. Yes, there is no way to defeat the monsters here except by escaping. But the storylines are varied and there are so many possibilities with each decision you make. There are 7 possible endings to the game and how it will end for you depends in your choices and actions.
White Day is available at the Google Play Store for $3.49. It also supports 8 different languages like Korean, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese(Simplifed/Traditional), and Japanese.
