Carriers have now realized that people will most likely not stick to their same smartphones, given the number of new smartphones that are released by various brands every year. That’s why we’re seeing a trend now that gives their customers the chance to upgrade their devices every year. Verizon is now offering its Annual Upgrade Program, but this time, it’s not just for iPhones but for Samsung Galaxy devices, specifically when you get the new flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.

To be part of this program, you would need to purchase either of the two flagship devices on a 24-month contract. You will be eligible to get a new phone from Verizon if you’ve paid off 50% of the handset that you bought and it should be at least 30 days after your purchase. But if you don’t want to get a new phone, you can still continue with your 24-month payments and just upgrade when a new model that you fancy is released in the market.

They are also offering a special treat for those who are switching from a different carrier to Verizon, you will receive $100 when you activate either of the two devices that you’ve just purchased. If you’re a Verizon subscriber and want to trade in your current smartphone or upgrade to the flagships or add another line choosing either of the two devices, you’ll get up to $300 rebate.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are now available through Horizon, with the former having a $627 retail price or $28/month for 24 months while the latter has a $792 SRP or $33/month for 24 months as well.
