After the Pebble Time getting a price cut, here’s another good news for loyal Pebble fans: app and firmware updates are now ready for download. The latest update brings the smartwatch some new features, enhancements, and improvements including bigger Emojis, new watchfaces and apps, as well as, support for more languages. This is for both the Android and iOS versions of the firmware and app.
The iOS app has been redesigned with a new layout and some upgrades plus interface is smoother and the main tab now comes with quick controls for the apps, notifications, and watch faces. Meanwhile, the Android app is now possible to use in German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian aside from English. This is actually for the two versions already–Android and iOS. Once the smartwatch app is updated, just choose the language you want in the settings.
Another update for the Android version includes several enhancements to the Send Text app, allowing you to send SMS in an easier and more convenient way. Other performance improvements and bug fixes are also notable.
The Pebble Time Firmware update also includes refined Pebble Health activity notifications plus the bigger emojis Pebble calls as Jumbo emoji. To get the latest firmware version, simple go to the Pebble Time smartphone app’s Menu> Support> Update your Pebble.
