If you like drifting, or if you actually know what it means (and we don’t mean the word followed by away), then you might want to check out this new game from SMG Studio (makers of OTTTD and One More Line). Thumb Drift is a combination of endless runner and racing game where the object is to not just drive fast but to cover as much distance as you can before you hit a wall and explode.
And there’s no way to avoid going down in a blaze of glory, really, because eventually, you will hit that wall. Don’t worry, you don’t need to actually be familiar with the rules and mechanics of drifting, because all you need to know in this game is how to use the fairly simple thumb controls. Plus there are more than 50 unlicensed cars (hey, at least they’re honest) that you can play around with, as well as an original soundtrack with 4 tunes to choose from.
And because any racing game brings out your competitive streak, you can challenge your friends to beat your top score or you can beat theirs. And learning to master the game is easy as you just need to teach your thumb how to take control. You will need to drag your thumb (or any finger for that matter, but let’s be loyal to the game’s name) back and forth to steer and drift.
