We already know that every year, Samsung releases a new flagship and of course, it should be an improvement over the previous device. But it will probably too much of a strain on your pocket if you will purchase the new one every time. That’s why the Samsung Upgrade Programme is something you can consider. Previously, it was only available in South Korea, but now, UK residents will also be able to avail of this offer from the OEM.
For a limited time only, you can enroll in the program and pay a monthly fee over the next 2 years wherein you will be able to upgrade to the latest Samsung Galaxy smartphone after 12 months. After you’ve upgraded to whatever latest flagship there is, you will then enter into a new 24 month agreement, subject to your credit status of course. The balance of your original or first phone will be taken care of by Samsung, provided you send it back in good working condition.
So for example you avail of the Samsung Galaxy S7 for now. The cash prize is £569 and you would need to deposit £56.90. Then your monthly payments will be at £24.58 (which includes representative APR and Rate of Interest). So basically, you’re spreading out £646.82 in 24 months. But if you choose to upgrade after 12 months, the remaining balance will be paid off by Samsung, provided you meet the conditions stated when returning the device.
If you avail of the program before minding of March 10, you’ll also get a complimentary Galaxy VR, because, as they’ve continued to emphasize, this is the year of virtual reality. Preorders of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge are already available, and that includes free shipping from March 8.
