The 50d Oxygen smartphone isn’t the only product ARCHOS is revealing this February. The French brand has prepared more products in time for the Mobile World Congress happening next week. The new Oxygen tablets are considered as high-end Android tablets, impressiv with their elegant aluminum back casing and powerful specs and features.
The ARCHOS Oxygen tablets are available in three sizes. There’s a 7-inch, 8-inch, and a 10.1-inch version. They all look alike and boast of almost the same features: Full HD resolution on an IPS screen, 1.3GHz A53 generation MTK8163 Quad-core processor, MALI 720 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, 5MP rear camera with autofocus and Flash LED, 2MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth, and WiFi.
The battery sizes are different though. The ARCHOS 70 Oxygen comes with a 3000mAh battery while the ARCHOS 80 Oxygen tablet features a 4500mAh battery. The bigger ARCHOS 101B Oxygen Android tablet comes equipped with a huge 6000mAh Li-ion battery which is twice as that of the 7-inch version. The Oxygen tablets already run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box so you can enjoy Google Now on Tab, enhanced app permissions, new Doze mode, and better battery performance.
The new ARCHOS 70, 80, and 101b Oxygen tablets are priced at £75 ($107), £99.99 ($143), and £119 ($170), respectively. They will be available starting May. ARCHOS considers them as high-end tablets but they are very affordable–that’s great value for your hard-earned money.
ARCHOS will be showcasing these Oxygen tablets at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. Catch them at Hall 1 booth 1G29 at Fira Gran Via.
