Even if you find those Facebook Messenger bubble chat heads annoying, you have to admit that the concept and idea is genius, as you can put it wherever you want on the screen then just dismiss it easily when you don’t want it anymore. A lot of app developers like it too, hence you see several apps that act that way now. One of those is a web browser called Flyperlink, and now you get to experience bubble browsing on your Android device.

Basically, Flyperlink acts like your floating chat heads that are forever on your screen, minimized or maximized, until you dismiss them. If you’re on Facebook or Twitter and you see a link, you’ll get the option to choose any of your installed browsers, which includes Flyperlink of course. If you choose it, the link will open in a bubble that you can expand or minimize. You can then move it around the screen wherever you like, in case it’s getting in the way of whatever else you’re doing. And when you’re done with the link, just drag the bubble to the trash icon at the bottom.

You can customize other aspects of the app, like size, position, toolbar position, etc. You can also do other functions when you have a link open, like share it though other apps, copy text which you then can share in other apps, view the page like on a desktop (and not the mobile browser version), and open special links in a backup browser as well.

You can download Flyperlink from the Google Play Store for free. There are some in-app purchases available, including donating to the developer, if you’re inclined to do so.

  1. So, let’s be honest here…Flyperlink isn’t anything original…However, as a former early adopter of Link Bubble when Chris Lacy still owned it and then Flynx later, which is smother and less buggy than LB, I have to say that Flyperlink is actually the best of the 3. The smoothest, least buggy & the best design by far. I also have to give props to the Dev. He has great communication and responds well. The few gripes I had, we’re fixed in an update within hours of commenting on Playstore and Flyperlink is near perfect now….
